Coach AJ Grezenko is a strength and conditioning coach and football coordinator dedicated to developing high-performance athletes and building disciplined, competitive programs. He currently serves as a Strength & Conditioning Teacher/Coach and Co-Defensive Coordinator at Hamilton Southeastern High School (IN), where he helps implement the school’s unified athletic performance program and leads the middle school and youth athletic development programs.
Prior to Hamilton Southeastern, Grezenko spent six years at Hanover Central High School, where he served as Strength & Conditioning Coach and Defensive Coordinator. During his time there, he created and developed the school’s unified strength and conditioning program, led the effort to renovate the training facility, and established middle school and freshman athletic performance programs that strengthened the school’s long-term athlete development pipeline.
Grezenko previously coached at Taylor High School, where he served as both Defensive Coordinator and Offensive Coordinator while implementing a unified strength and conditioning program for all sports. Earlier in his career he coached at North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation as Defensive Coordinator while teaching elementary physical education, and at North Newton School Corporation as Offensive Coordinator. He began his career at Merrillville Community School Corporation as a freshman football coach and teacher.
A recognized leader in strength and conditioning, Grezenko was named Indiana State Strength Coach of the Year in 2023. He is an active speaker at coaching clinics and has presented at the Glazier Football Clinic, NSCA Indiana State Clinic, NHSSCA Indiana State Clinic, and Playbook Clinics on topics including game planning, weight room culture, and athlete development.
Grezenko holds a Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s College and holds multiple performance certifications.
